Style 616 Commercial Polyethylene Tubing Style No. 616 Tubing is a simi-rigid white translucent tubing produced from 100% virgin, low density polyethylene resin. It is a chemically inert and non-contaminating tube that meets FDA standards, making it an ideal choice for laboratory, hospital, food and beverage applications. Style No. 616 contains no plasticizers and retains flexibility on aging. It can be immersed and softened in boiling water permitting bending and easy application to glass tubing and other laboratory apparatus.
Style 2181 Polyurethane Tubing Style No. 2181 Polyurethane tubing offers greater abrasion resistance and tear strength. It is not affected by ozone, oxygen, or weathering; and it has excellent resistance to petroleum oils, greases and fuels. It may also be used with dilute solutions of acids or bases, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and aqueous salt solutions.
