Vibratory DeLong offers all kinds of light and heavy deburring services through comprehensive techniques and procedures. Our vibratory deburring equipments can handle large volumes of heavy metals with ease. Your specifications are dealt with precision care and executed flawlessly.
We are fully equipped with an inventory of vibratory finishing equipments that include disc finishers, vibratory bowls, vibratory tubs, spin finishers, high energy machines, drag finish machines, and several types of dryers as well. The following are some of the features you receive through our customized processes:
Uniform polishing at microscopic levels
Traditional deburring techniques
Plastic, ceramic and steel vibratory media
High speed deburring
Efficient heavy metal burr removal
Vibratory deburring processes refine the surface structure of metals by rubbing parts through specific circular vibrations. Parts are dumped into large chambers and the vibration initiated causes the parts to collide with each other causing deburring. The type of finishing is determined by the choice of media and nature of compound used. We at DeLong offer vibratory deburring using three different media like plastic, ceramic and steel. Our media are heavy enough to polish microscopic burr patterns with ease.
The different kinds of media follow specific formulation for each and every type of metal that is dealt with. Good, medium, fine and outstanding cuts with relatively low RMS are offered at varying blend and abrasive levels.
Aggressive deburring of relatively bad imperfections, holes and cavities are ensured through our vibratory deburring processes. Flatness is achieved through plastic media whereas heavy cutting is made possible by ceramic media. Glossy, super fine finish with flashy texture is obtained through our steel media.
Steel Ball Burnishing DeLong offers extensive range of steel ball burnishing media available in distinctive shapes and materials. Two main forms of burnished steel balls are available with us which are Eclipse and Abco. Spherical steel balls are subjected to slight flattening at their poles to give the eclipse shape wherein they are left rounded for the abco type.
Latest technology burnishing equipments are used in the burnishing process wherein parts are loaded into chambers along with the steel balls and excited with high speed vibrations. Abrasion and collision of parts with these balls causes wearing, rubbing and grinding of imperfect edges, finally producing a crystal clear fine surface.
The rounded steel balls that we supply offer smooth rolling action which makes it suitable for grinding and polishing processes. Cost effective lustrous finish is one of the remarkable feature of elliptical steel balls. A shiny metallic layer devoid of rough, rugged edges is the result of our significant burnishing process.
