 | Heavy Gauge Stamping
CEI produces heavy gauge stampings by shearing, punching, drawing, stretching, bending, and coining materials up to .5” in thickness. Our maximum press tonnage is 600 tons with the ability to progressively stamp up 300 tons, allowing us to produce parts in both high and low volume. Our large bed sizes run up to 108” in length and 48” in width. CEI is an ISO registered manufacturer.

CEI has been utilizing Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (Wire EDM) since 1984. We use Wire EDM for customer contract work as well as our internal requirements. CEI can assist your company with its Wire EDM needs from design assistance to final completion.

Fixtures used for production runs are designed by our talented Design Engineering Team and built by our experienced toolmakers. Our programmers use CAD information to produce high-volume and low-volume Wire EDM parts in our state-of-the-art Wire EDM machines and to our customer’s custom specifications.

 | Tool and Die Repair Services
CEI repairs damaged and worn die-sets in our in house Tool Maintenance Department. Even if the tool wasn’t originally built by CEI, we will sharpen your worn tooling, replace broken punches and die-inserts, clean, and refurbish the tool. CEI will also set up a routine maintenance program to keep production to specification, as well as extend the life of the tool.

Laser marking and engraving services are offered in lot sizes at Component Engineers Inc. Our Machines have the ability to mark logos, graphics, serial numbers, and data matrices on virtually any material in production quantities.
