ME - Mechanical Engineering (ME) Mechanical Engineering integrated with product development and complimented by Industrial Design is our strength. WhiteLight Design’s senior ME’s have over 25 years of practice and are dedicated to adopting peer reviewed, science based, methodologies and leading edge engineering practices, processes and technologies centered around our Strategic Development Process. Our Mechanical Engineers understand the physics and business principles it takes to bring a product or production manufacturing operation from invention patent to proof of concept prototype to full blown assembly production automation machine design. With the depth of our experience and knowledge, WhiteLight Design finds simple solutions in unexpected places that are highly functional, cost-effective, and easy to manufacture and assemble.
ManufE - Manufacturing & Processing Understanding the client’s manufacturing capabilities is a crucial part of our product development process. Based on system complexities, manufacturing, and systems engineering, we help identify new creative methods and opportunities from many perspectives to better develop your product. Our expertise extends across all manufacturing processes, from injection molded plastics to forging and machining metals. WhiteLight Design’s manufacturing knowledge will correctly guide your product from tooling to final assembly in the most effective manner. Manufacturing Engineering is understanding the relationship between the structure of materials and their behavior properties before, during and after the manufacturing process and the understanding of the theoretical, atomic and molecular properties and applied physics, as well as metallurgical, chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering. Manufacturing and Manufacturing Processes are part of an interdisciplinary field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Systems Engineering. WhiteLight Design and its associated MMN - Molder and Manufacturer Network primarily works with manufactures in the United States, but we also work with international Manufacturers and Manufacturers Representatives.(continued...Manufacturing Engineering Introduction Page 2)
