Our boring mill department has several horizontal boring mills that can easily handle parts requiring a work envelope as large as 60′′ x 80′′ x 120′′. Using this machinery, our highly skilled machinists can quickly and accurately machine your parts to meet your unique specifications.

Heavy Fabricating
Astro Manufacturing & Design also has an entire department dedicated exclusively to heavy fabricating and welding. Our complete heavy metal fabricating capabilities include forming, shearing, laser cutting and welding services. We combine quality and experience to provide virtually any size project from prototype to production runs, ranging from small weldments to heavy plate fabrications and structural assemblies. Our certified welders are experienced in carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel and most alloys.
