Industrial and Custom Coatings We at Van Westrum have been providing industrial coating services to help your parts last longer since 1946. We engineer our industrial coatings to meet your exact specifications. We use both powder and liquid coatings and all the coating applications used are processed at our plant.
We have been providing Teflon® fluorocarbon coating services since 1954. With more than half a century of experience in industrial coating services, we have diversified to provide a wide range of coating services including Xylan®, Emralon®, Plasite®, Heresite®, Halar®, powder coatings (electrostatic and fluidized bed), EMI/RFI shielding, epoxies, nylons, polyesters, polyethylenes, urethanes, phenolics and various others.
Van Westrum is equipped to respond to application requirements in the area of Fluoropolymer, Teflon®, Epoxy, Polyethylene, Nylon and Polypropylene coatings. We use conventional spray, HPLV spray, electrostatic spray, and dip and dip-spin techniques to apply liquid coatings. We also have expertise in using electrostatic spray, fusion bonded spray and fluid bed techniques to apply powder coatings.

In addition to industrial coatings on new parts, we also provide maintenance coating programs for your needs. Some applications will involve excessive tear-off and wearing of protective coatings and we will design a maintenance coating program that suits your need perfectly.
Van Westrum Corporation will work with the customer from the design and proto-type stage to the production run stage. We are limited to a part weighing 5000 lbs and measuring less than 8′ x 8′ x 15′ long. We strive to use environmentally friendly coatings whenever possible.
