In testing tank transport hoses from a wide variety of manufacturers, the Boss-Lock PF fitting showed significant improvement in hose coupling retention over the conventional cam and groove shank design. |

Aeroquip 100R5 fittings are a low-cost, lightweight alternative for high-volume applications that do not require field-assembled fittings. Unique crimping dies are required for assembly. 100R5 crimp fittings have been designed and tested for use with 1503, FC234, FC300, FC350, FC355 hose styles.

The SAE J514 straight thread O-Ring Boss (ORB) is an American Connection and is recommended by the N.F.P.A for optimum leakage control in medium and high pressure hydraulic systems. The male connector has a straight thread and an O-Ring. The female port has a straight thread, a machined surface (minimum spot-face) and a chamfer to accept the O-Ring. The seal takes place by compressing the O-Ring into the chamfer and the threads hold the connection mechanically.
