Guidewire Introducers
Better Results, Less Trauma

Easy penetration, control and low trauma are common to all Hart needles. An internally tapered hub promotes smooth introduction of the guidewire. Ultra Thin wall reduces the puncture size required for a given guidewire. A full range of lengths and gauges are available.

Seldinger Style- This two part needle has a solid stylet with a super sharp arterial bevel and a radially tapered outer needle for low penetration force and optimal transition. The single concave hub guard and interlocking cap with hub provide reliable bevel reference and stabilitiy for the user.

One-Piece Needles- One-piece introducer needles are available with either a single concave guard (similar to the Seldinger Style) or the Hart Sure Grip™ Flashback hub design. Ultra thin wall cannula and short arterial bevel points reduce trauma.

Cournand Style, Modified and Standard- The double concave hub shield permits bevel-up or bevel-down positioning. The inner needle allows flashback through its cap. The standard design cannula extends through the hub to prevent blood pooling. The modified style eliminaltes the needle extension through the hub to facilitate the easy introduction of guidewires.

CM markings and Ultrasound enhancements available on all standard needles.

Custom sizes available for all needles. Contact Hart Enterprises for more details.
Biopsy Needles
Larger Samples, Less Trauma

Hart combines its versatile cutting edge grinding capabilities with lightweight, ergonomically designed hubs to provide outstanding accuracy and control on a wide range of percutaneous biopsy prodecures. Our differential bevel between stylet and cannula point further reduces coring and tissue entrapment for cleaner samples. Outstanding sharpness permits the use of thin wall cannulas which increases the sample yield for any given gauge...maximum result, minimum trauma. The Chiba and Franseen needles are manufactured in a variety of gauges and lengths. We will also accommodate and fabricate your exact requirements.

Franseen Style Needles- A trocar pointed stylet and serrated outer needle assists in an accurate placement of the needle and clean, reliable removal of lung tissue. This wall cannula provides a superior cutting edge and a large sample.

Chiba Needles- A matched point or differential bevel is available. The interlocking hub and cap yield high accuracy and low trauma for this fine-needle percutaneous, soft-tissue, aspiration biopsy instrument. Chiba needles are also utilized for injection of radiopaque dyes.

Needle stops available for a nominal charge. CM markings and Ultrasound enhancements available on all standard needles.

Spinal Needles
Greater Flow, Less Pressure, Less Trauma

Our differential bevels eliminate coring, light-weight, Sure Grip™ plastic hubs bring exceptional control for spinal procedures. Clear plastic hubs provide a ′′window′′ on fluid flow, and thin wall cannula permits high flow rates with low pressure and trauma. Hart can also make Huber, Epidural and Atraumatic Spinal needles to your specifications.

The short bevel design with Quincke-type point spreads and displaces rather than cutting the dura matter. This needle reduces the overall penetration forces, yet still imparts a positive feel when penetrating the dura.

CM markings and Ultrasound enhancements available on all standard needles.
