Slip Resistant Stair Treads & Covers SlipNOT® slip resistant stair treads and covers are available in grating, plate, perforated plate and expanded metal. Treads are formed to specifications with nosings, risers and nosings or formed to a channel. SlipNOT® non-slip tread covers are easily retrofitted over existing grating or unsafe diamond checker plate assemblies. They can be welded directly to current treads or stringers or can be bolted in place. Holes can be provided pre-drilled or drilled and countersunk in the field without harming the SlipNOT® surface. For retrofitting over concrete steps, treads are routinely mounted into masonry anchors. SlipNOT® non-skid treads become an integral safety component for extreme wear longevity and continual safety. Covers are available in thickness of 1/8′′ up to 1/2′′ and standard depths are 8′′-12′′. SlipNOT® stair treads exceed OSHA Standard 1910.24F for slip resistant stair treads.
Non-slip Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® SlipNOT® Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® (3/4 No. 9 flattened expanded metal) is generally used to retrofit over existing dangerously slick gratings creating a safe, productive walking surface. Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® provides vital traction necessary to increase safety with a minimum of weight and surface area. SlipNOT® coated expanded metal can be purchased in stock sheets or cut to size and custom formed to cover stair treads or other project specific requirements. This product is available in steel, aluminum, galvanized steel or stainless steel. SlipNOT® Grid Grip® is durable and long lasting with a surface hardness between 55-63 on the Rockwell “C” Scale.
Non-slip Drain Covers SlipNOT® drain covers provide instant safety to slippery floors. Non-slip drain covers are available in stainless steel, steel, galvanized steel and aluminum. The covers can be made out of solid plate, perforated plate, grating, expanded metal or other specified material. SlipNOT® can either fabricate the drain cover to specifications or can coat existing metal drain covers. Drain covers remain slip resistant in all wet and oily conditions.
