3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy and Acryilic Adhesives
Epoxy based adhesives/sealants with a 1:1 or 2:1 mix ratio that is ideal for bonding many substrates with different coefficients of expansion and contraction.  As an alternative to mechanical or fusion fastening, the reasons for Scotch-Weld Adhesives are many:  greater design latitude, cleaner lines, material subsitution, less machining, lighter weight, more durability, and often less cost.
3M Scotch-Weld Instant Adhesives
  • A combination of bond strength, cure time, and viscosity
  • These clear, one-part, cyanoarylate instant adhesives reach handling strength at room temperature in five to ten seconds without a catalyst
  • A single drop per square inch can bond many plastics, rubber, metal, etc. with tensile strength up to 5,000 PSI
  • Base material is Ethyl
  • Resistance to any fuels, lubricating oils, and other chemicals from -40*C/-40*F to 93*C/200*F gap filling; extended cure rates for repositionability; high peel and impact strength
3M Jet-melt Adhesives
  • 100% solid, solvent free thermoplastic resins
  • Assemblies can be moved immediately
  • No space or energy consumed for drying
  • Also available in low temperature applied versions
  • Reaches handling strength in seconds

  • Low VOC-no drying equipment
  • 10 fl. oz. cartridges
3M Scotch-Weld Adhesives
Epoxy and acrylic-based adhesives that cure at room temperature or with heat to provide tough, impact-resistant bonds with high peel strengths.  Practical bond strength is at least 1,000 psi overlap shear at 75*F (24*C).
3M Jet-melt Adhesives
  • 100% solid, solvent free thermoplastic resins
  • Assemblies can be moved immediately
  • No space or energy consumed for dryng
  • Also available in low temperature applied versions
