The 460 Check incorporates a stainless ball on a brass seat in the check valve body.
The 460 Check will have a positive seal only at high back pressure.
There is no elastomer in the check valve to create a positive seal and there may be some leakage past the seat in low back pressure applications.
110 SERIES PISTON CHECK VALVE
The 110 Check Valves incorporate a Guided Piston with an embedded o-ring that seals on the seat, providing a positive seal at low back pressure or a slight vacuum.
The 110 Check Valves have a 1 psi Cracking Pressure and are rated to 125 psi.
A 1 psi Hastelloy Spring is available for chemical resistance applications.
CV SERIES PISTON CHECK VALVE
