Cushcraft Corporation, the world’s foremost supplier of Wireless LAN, 802.11 enhanced performance antennas is proud to announce the introduction of our new modular antenna and connector adaptor cable suite for use with popular radio cards.
The suite includes what are considered to be the world’s most popular enhanced performance wireless LAN antennas, along with a choice of connector adaptor cables that allows systems integrators to mate their antennas directly to the radio card/access point.
New radio cards, now being deployed, include two receive ports, providing systems integrators with far more flexibility in deploying spatial antenna diversity. This also provides systems integrators with a more attractive platform from which to take advantage of all the qualities offered by Cushcraft’s world-renowned line of wireless LAN (802.11 Wi-Fi) antennas solutions.
Cushcraft has designed, and manufactures, these adaptor cables to the same standards of performance, quality and reliability that the wireless LAN community has come to expect from the Cushcraft antenna line. The performance of these cables have none of the nasty impedance bumps and VSWR anomalies – a critical factor in maintaining system performance - that are so common to adaptor cables of this type. The other end of the coax cable adaptor is fitted with a reverse polarity TNC connector. This gives the integrator access to a broad spectrum of antennas from Cushcraft’s outstanding antenna line.
Cushcraft also offers a version fitted with a type N male connector at one end, allowing systems integrators to deploy Cushcraft antennas with type N female connectors.
