SlipNOT® long lasting, slip resistant floor plates are designed for applications where durability and safety are critical.

Product information:
  • Available stock thickness: 1/8” to 2+”
  • Available stock widths: 4’, 5’ or 6’
  • Available stock lengths: 8’, 10’ 12’
  • Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications
  • Available SlipNOT® surface: Steel
  • Available in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Medium) or Grade 3 (Coarse)
  • Available alloys: A-36, A-572 Grade 50, Commercial Quality

  • Advantages: SlipNOT® Steel plates have an unmatched surface hardness and a long life. SlipNOT® non slip steel plates provide a permanently safe replacement for slippery steel diamond plate.
  • Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant plates can be purchased in stock sheets or can be cut to size and custom formed in order to meet specific project requirements.
  • Durability: Plates have a file hard surface of 55-63 on the Rockwell ′′C′′ Scale, and a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
  • Fabrication: Plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk and drilled for complete versatility both in the shop and field. When fabricating or working with our product it can be treated like any other metal plate or grating.
  • Finishes: Plates can be ordered in mill finish, painted black, gray, or safety yellow, hot dipped galvanized, or customized.
  • Other options: Retrofitting SlipNOT® plate over existing slippery grating instantly creates a safe, slip resistant walkway.
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Plates exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.98.

  • Advantages: Road plates do not wear smooth or flake off after years of high traffic use. SlipNOT® road plates are ideal in areas where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increases the risk of accidents and potential public access liability problems.

  • Finishes: Steel road plates can be ordered with a mill finish, painted or hot dipped galvanized.

    SlipNOT® steel perforated plate is ideal for refurbishing old slippery platforms, stair treads and walkways. It also flexes to reduce worker fatigue.

  • Note: Perforation removes about 2/3 of the strength from the plate. Additional supports may be required

Perforated plate combines the flow through advantages of grating and the solid surface of a plate. Plate flexes when walked on to prevent worker fatigue.

  • Fabrication: Plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk and drilled for complete versatility both in the shop and field.
  • Finishes: Plate can be ordered in mill finish, painted, or can be hot dipped galvanized. Plate that is galvanized may have may have internal strands between the holes from the hot dip galvanizing process.
