550 Series Gages, Inside Diameters Rigid, Flexible or Soft Wall Part
  • Fast, easy way to measure inside diameters of fixed, flexible and soft walled parts
  • Actual diameter is read at the ring and vernier scale in the handle
  • Electronic diameter is on the digital read-out
  • Measuring depth range is 15-50 mm.
  • SPC capable
  • Laser marked scales and stainless steel tapes.
440 Series Twin Cross® Large Diameter Bore Gages
Electronic Direct Reading Absolute Numbers, Bore Gages
No tipping, automatic centering and aligning of the gage in the bore.
Dedicated to part size and tolerance.

440 sizes 4.000′′ (101.6 mm) thru 39.730′′ (1000 mm).

441 Series Single Cross® Bore Gages, Large Diameter, Shallow Hole, Stepped Bore
Electronic, Non-Tipping, Automatic Centering & Aligning, Dedicated Size & Range.
4.000′′ (101.6 mm) thru 19.690′′ (500 mm).
Series 430 Thru 439 Keyways, Keyseats, Slots, Groove Widths, Parallel Surfaces, Irregular Shapes
  • Fast, repeatable, spring-loaded contact points
  • High accuracies ± 0.000040 inch (0.001 mm)
  • Repeatability greater than 0.000040 inch (0.001 mm)
  • Non-tipping, no operator error
  • Mechanical or electronic for SPC
  • Exact measurement displayed
282 Series Measure Precision Bore I. Ds with Central Hub Obstruction
  • Electronic
  • Blind and shallow bores
  • Automatic centering
  • Adjustable depth-stop optional
  • Customized standards, contact Dyer office
Precision measurements of recessed inside diameters with short or long shoulder hub obstruction.
There is no operator influence when measuring the hub. Ideal for bearing surface diameters.
633 Series ′′All-Electronic® Highest Accuracy′′ Bore Gages
The difference between Dyer’s 630 Series and 633 Series is the All-Electronic® gage have a digital electronic probe integrated directly into the floating 2-point contact system and directly on the bore’s measuring axis.
  • Highest accuracy, and repeatability, 50% higher than 630 series
  • Easy to use and no operator influence
  • Fast accurate measurements
  • Long contact point travel
  • Spring loading self-centering. ′′The gage will not bind up in the bore.′′
  • Large ranges, you will change sizes quickly
  • Deep reach, large diameters
  • Highest accuracy bore roundness measurement.
466 Series ′′Hands-Off′′ Bore Gaging
Large Bore Measuring
The spring-loaded and retractable centering base along with the long contact point travel of the 466 Series gages eliminates the potential of the bore gage hanging up in an out-of-round bore.
  • Electronic or mechanical dial indicator
  • Large ranges, high accuracy
  • No operator error. No tipping, automatic aligning, electronic bore gaging
  • Rough cut and final cut measurements with one gage and one set up
  • Gage R & R less than equal to 10% guaranteed
  • Light weight, easy to use
  • Rugged design for use at the machine
  • Vertical and horizontal bore measuring capabilities
  • Two-point contact measuring, three-point contact centering with the measuring contact independent of the centering system
  • Retractable center base is chromed to reduce friction when profiling. Base is over sized to repeatably and precisely automatically align and center the measuring head in the bore’s radial axis
  • Z-axis depth stop is lightweight
  • Special types and sizes available for non-flat unique bore entrance surfaces. Special designed surface collar allows the gage to easily slide on the handle in the Z-axis. This collar will lock in a stopped position.
104 Series ′′Classic′′ Direct Reading ID Groove Gages
Electronic option, quality and accuracy of gage, many different models.
  • Easy to use; the gage arms collapse to enter the small bore, then open into groove diameters
  • Customized standards in 1-2 days.
  • Fast, accurate, repeatable measurements
  • Gage R & R capable (depends on tolerance and application). We will do Gage R & R on your part before we ship it to you
  • Hard steel alloyed arms and special machined case makes these gages light weight and shop durable. The arms are spring-loaded
  • New rack gear movement for increased accuracy and repeatability. Oil and corrosion resistant
  • Large, easy to read graduations. Gage uses a 2-pointer system.
630 Series Deep Reach Electronic Bore Gages
630 Series measuring heads reach up to 50 feet depths.
  • High accuracy, repeatability, long contact travel at up to 50 feet depths
  • Easy to use, no operator error, floating contact design moves easily in and out of bore
  • Fast accurate measurements, measuring head aligns automatically throughout the bore, and no operator error
  • Large measuring ranges
  • Cost justifiable system
  • Systems electronic indication has several options. Gage can be battery operated and completely portable.
Measuring Applications:
  • Measure Barrel ware Injection Molding Machines
  • Measure Barrel ware Food Processing Machines
  • Large and/or Bearing Surfaces
  • Irregular size deep holes.
283 Series Full or Part Circle O.D. Gages
  • Electronic
  • Blind and shallow bores
  • Automatic centering
  • Adjustable depth-stop optional
  • Customized standards, contact Dyer office
Precision measurements of recessed outside diameters of short shoulder hubs with or without wall obstruction. Ideal for bearing surface diameters with short heights or blind end measurements in centerless grinding machines.
There is no operator influence when measuring the hub.
