Keep the Heat™ Air-to-Air Heat Exchangers
The Keep the Heat™ (formerly Neu-Air) Air-To-Air Heat Exchanger

      Is your facility in need of general ventilation? Do you have exhaust fans at the ceiling or upper walls wasting lots of energy? If you were frustrated with this winter′s heating bills, start planning now for saving energy next winter.

       Your best solution is to vent the air without losing heat using our Keep the Heat™ Air-To-Air Heat Exchanger. The design is the key. The system consists of a ′′Y′′ shaped fan assembly. The system draws fresh outside air in at the top of the ′′Y′′ with a 1 hp turbine fan. This air is distributed through eleven 3 inch corrugated tubes nested in a 20 foot long exhaust plenum. Contaminated air is removed at the ceiling level through this exhaust plenum and exhausted out the bottom of the ′′Y′′. Inside the Plenum is where the heat exchange takes place. When the contaminated air is leaving, it heats the tubes, which in turn warms the fresh air within the tubes. All components are designed for long life and low maintenance. The only part of the unit that moves is the motors. These units can be used year round to keep your work area cooler in the summer by only using the exhaust fan. They are great at removing humidity.

      The combination of the tubes within the correctly calculated heat-transfer plenum and turbulent airflow within the unit provide the highly effective transfer of heat. The fresh outside air is warmed to within 5* F - 10* F of the inside temperature of the building. The tempered fresh air is now routed across the ceiling and down the walls to about three feet of the floor. The result is fresh air is delivered to the employee work area at the floor level where it is most needed. The lower portion of the building will be pressurized with clean fresh air forcing contaminates up to ceiling and out the exhaust plenum. The system is highly effective at removing welding smoke, diesel fumes, carbon monoxide, haze and humidity, without losing your heat.
