Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)
In addition to XCEL’s requirements, our WIRE EDM department also does outside contract work. This department operates around the clock when necessary. We use ESPRIT wire software and our Mitsubishi machines can handle up to 21′′ x 23′′ x 10′′ workpiece.

EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)
Our 2,400 sq. ft. sinker EDM department is serviced by a 1-ton crane, and is equipped with conventional and CNC EDM machines. This department works two 10-hour shifts and is always capable of performing outside contract work. Our electrodes are all made in house with conventional, CNC, and high-speed graphite cutting machines.
