Low density polyethylene film tape. 5.5 mil. Synthetic rubber based adhesive. Its tough polyethylene backing offers good abrasion and tear resistance. Low tack adhesive for surface protection applications. Clean removal off most surfaces. Should be tested before ordering. 3 inch neutral core. Static shear at 23°C (3 Kg. weight) >40 hours to SST. Polyethylene splicing; patching/repairing poly sheeting in boating and RV industry; electroplate masking; surface protection; color coding; wire identification; packaging; etc.
Film Tape, LDPE-9R
5.5 mil. Low density polyethylene film tape. 9.0 total. Synthetic rubber based adhesive remains permanently tacky and bonds well to most surfaces over a wide range of temperatures; excellent low temperature bond. Tough polyethylene backing offers good abrasion and tear resistance. Highly conformable, waterproof and resistant to chemical deterioration. 3 inch neutral core. Film thickness 5.5 mil. Moisture vapor transmission 0.4 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs. Ideal for polyethylene spicing; patching/repairing poly sheeting used in boating and RV industry; surface protection & electroplate masking; wire identification; packaging; etc. Works well in most applications where a low thread count polyethylene coated cloth tape is being used.
Polyester Splicing & Printed Circuit Board Tape, MYP-25CA-72 yards
Clear or white. Acrylic adhesive 2.5 mil - Polyester film coated with a pre-cured solvent resistant electrical grade acrylic adhesive. Tape thickness: 2.5 mils. Backing thickness: 1.0 mil. Tensile strength: 25 lbs./in. Elongation: 100%. Adhesion: 35 oz/inch.. Dielectric strength: 4,500 volts. Electrolytic corrosion; factor; 1.0. Government specification: L.T. 100a. Mil Spec T-9906, Amend. 2. Excellent resistance to solvents, heat & chemicals. Used for component packaging & electrical insulation, edge reinforcement on books, webs, etc. Insulation class: 130°C. Temperature up to 310°F. 3 inch neutral core.
