AMS has an in house machine shop with state of the art CNC turning and milling equipment. This allows AMS to provide its′ customers with better quality control and reduced lead times on fabrications with turned or machined parts. AMS uses Master CAM to program the machining center and the lathe to insure that its′ customers receive the most accurate and consistent parts available.

AMS uses a 4000 watt laser with automated load and unload for our cutting process. Our machinery coupled with our advanced software allows us to achieve maximum efficiency in our burning process. Take a look at how our burning process helps us provide maximum value to our customers.

AMS uses a Trumpf 4000 watt L3030 CNC laser cutting table. This machine has a cutting capacity of up to one inch mild steel, it also has a sheet capacity which allows AMS to provide our customers with a wide variety of laser cut parts. AMS uses automated material handling system to help us provide the most value to our customers. Laser cutting is just the first of many fabrication processes that AMS offers to our customers. The Trumpf machine has an accuracy of+/- .005 of an inch. The repeatability of the machine is =/- .001 of an inch. With this technology AMS can assure that all of our customers receive high precision quality fabricated parts.

AMS offers a fabrication department with a total of over 30 years combined fabrication experience. AMS has a variety of equipment needed for any type of fabrication job. AMS has an extensive welding department that can handle a variety of products, from large structures to small covers. AMS can assist is cost reduction measures to help lower the final cost of our customers product. Along with an experienced and knowledgeable fabrication staff, AMS also has an extensive engineering department. We offer 3-D modeling, assistance with prototypes, and value engineering.

AMS has fabrication department capable of producing a wide variety of fabrications. We have ability to weld material from 16 ga. to 1 inch thick. Our engineering department has the ability to model all weldments and design fixtures in house. Note the qualifications of our fabrication and welding department.
