POP® 500 Series Power Rivetools- MCS Retrofit Kit With an MCS 500 System, the vacuum pulls - and holds - the rivet securely in the nosepiece even when the tool is pointed down. This enables the operator to place the rivet directly into its hole with one hand only. When the rivet is set, the spent mandrel is instantly propelled into the collection bottle at the rear of the tool. This saves time usually required to drop out the spent mandrel, collect mandrel for recyclable scrap, reduces shop cleanup time, and promotes safety.
Manual POP® Rivetools The manual POP Rivetools are ideal for low production, prototype, and field-setting applications where power is not available. A single, firm squeeze is all it takes to set the smaller rivet sizes. Models PRG 440 and PRG 450 are capable of setting most types and sizes in the POP Rivet line, including tough T-rivets.
