Royersford Foundry & Machine Co., Inc. - Phoenixville, PA
Manufacturer, Custom Manufacturer, Manufacturers' Rep
Manufacturer of solid steel split collars made from cold-rolled steel & available in sizes up to 3 in. They are smaller than iron collars & are used when space & appearance are important. Solid cast iron collars are the heavy-duty type & are available up to 8 in. shaft size. They are machined all over & fastened to the shaft with socket head screws. Split cast iron collars are used when the removable feature is desirable. They are available from 1 in. shaft size to 8 in. Their dimensions are the largest of the three types. Some clamping action is present due to the split style, but the primary positioning force is the socket head set screw.
