Eastern & Western PA plants with over 40 vacuum furnaces from lab size up to 36 ft. long, 150,000 lb. hearth capacity. 10 bar pressure quenching, partial pressure processing. Vacuum brazing: a batch furnace process for machined, tube, cast, stamped & formed parts for leak tight, bright, clean assemblies. Vacuum carburizing: Case harden parts with low torr range vacuum carburizing for minimized distortion, case depth uniformity & bright clean results. Prevents microstructure intergranular oxidation (IGO) & decarburization. Other services include: vacuum nitriding (gas & ion) surface hardening, high temperature sintering, steam treating for black coating, cryogenic processing, graphite coating: Tic & Sic for wear life, sealing. Coatings: Protective InformationCoating of graphite parts with titanium carbide (TiC) & silicon carbide (SiC) for bright finish & cleanliness. Suitable graphite parts for coating include: setter plates, guides, crucible, furnace boats & holders. Will accept graphite parts or drawings for machining.
