Best Practices for Oil & Gas Conference to Highlight Innovation

Meeting the Innovation Challenge for Safe Reliable and Sustainable Operations will be the keynote panel discussion at the Best Practices for Oil & Gas conference on Oct 6-9 in Dallas.

The conference will also feature workshops, roundtable discussions and presentations on topics ranging from best practices for finance to working with universities for building SAP skills.

The event, in its third year, is a joint collaboration between SAP, Americas’ SAP Users’ Group (ASUG) and The Eventful Group, and is geared for oil and gas leaders, and professionals involved in all operation levels. The event will feature 70 professionals and experts from upstream, midstream, downstream and oil field services. More than 30 technology and service partners in the SAP ecosystem will showcase on the exhibit floor.

One session “Birds of a Feather Flock Together,” will feature topics that will be “voted on by the community,” while multiple tracks will be led by professionals from companies including ExxonMobil, CITGO Petroleum Corporation, and ConocoPhillips.

This year, core “hot topics” in the oil and gas community that will be highlighted at the event include:
