Electro-Chemical Devices, the analytical process instrumentation maker based in Irvine, Calif., has put to market its T80 Universal Transmitter aimed at process and plant engineers looking for a process analyzer for multiple measurements. The T80 single-channel transmitter handles seven common parameters: pH, ORP, pION, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, conductivity and resistivity.
The T80 works in tandem with Electro-Chemical Devices’s S80 sensor, configuring menus and display screens to the measured parameter. The T80 automatically configures to any of the listed measurements, eliminating the need to inventory multiple instrument types and saving time and costs.
The T80 and S80 instrumentation tandem from Electro-Chemical Devices is said to simplify analytics.
The S80 sensor, meanwhile, comes in two designs: an insertion/submersion type and a valve retractable with a flared end to prevent blowout. The S80 features a 3/4-in-dia stainless steel body with a 10-ft cable.
