Process and engineering instrumentation supplier Endress+Hauser has signed the new Vector Controls and Automation Group, based in Houston, as its sales representative servicing Texas, Oklahoma, and portions of New Mexico and Arkansas.
Vector is a newly formed representative partnership consisting of five representative organizations that merged this month to offer customers instrumentation, automation, mechanical and analytical solutions with product and application support. Initial merging partners include Pantech Controls, Instrument TAGS, M&D Controls, Remote Data Solutions, and Summit Controls.
Todd Lucey, Endress+Hauser’s general Manager, said in a statement, “We believe that the Vector merger is a bold and proactive move to anticipate changes in the marketplace. The competitive landscape is changing for us and for our customers … we believe Vector is the right platform.
“Our channel partners are the face to our customers, so channel development is at the core of Endress+Hauser achieving its goals,” Lucey continued. “Endress+Hauser can only be successful when we’re successful together with our sales channel — as true partners.”
In 2011, Endress+Hauser recorded sales of approximately $1.9 billion for sensors, devices, systems, and services for level, flow, pressure, and temperature measurement as well as liquid analysis and measured value recording. The company also provides automation, logistical, and IT services and solutions support.
