The new year is starting off with an M&A bang.
In the booming oil and gas sector, J-W Power Co. has announced its acquisition of substantially all the assets of Enerven Compression LLC and Worldwide Energy Solutions Co. LLC, which has over 400 natural gas compression packages located primarily in the mid-continent and Barnett Shale regions.
According to a release by J-W Power Co., substantially all of Enerven Compression’s personnel will be retained.
Don Bizzell, president of J-W Power Co., said in a statement that the Enerven business will add value to the company through synergy with its compression leasing operations and by bringing aftermarket maintenance and refurbishment services.
J-W Power Co. specializes in leasing natural gas compression packages ranging from 18 to 1,775 hp. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of J-W Energy Co., which specializes in natural gas compression, gas measurement and gas gathering. It is active at most U.S. natural gas basins.
