Pump Solutions Group (PSG) has opened a sales office in Shanghai to serve growing Chinese and Asia-Pacific industrial pump markets. It will be a cornerstone operation for sales and marketing efforts and technical support in the region for the Abaque, Almatec, Blackmer, Griswold, Maag, Mouvex, Nepture, Quattroflow, RedScrew, and Wilden brands.
According to PSG, a business unit of Dover Corp., the new office represents larger quarters than its previous base for the region due to “robust business growth.” The company says there is an emphasis on “continued growth in China over the next three to five years.” Each of the PSG brands will have dedicated sales and tech-support teams.
“The new office is a testament to PSG’s commitment to this region, to our channel partners, and ambition to continued growth in the coming years,” said Dave Wang, PSG’s vice president of sales and business development for the Asia-Pacific region. “The addition of the Wilden Turbo-Flo AODD and Neptune mechanical diaphragm metering pumps to our product offering in the Chinese market has helped PSG grow its presence in certain key vertical markets such as chemical and water/wastewater.”
PSG has a manufacturing facility in a suburb of Shanghai that opened last year. The company, based in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., focuses on positive displacement pumps and supporting technologies. For more, visit www.psgdover.com.
