Sensorex has released the CX-3000 Transmitter for monitoring conductivity, resistivity, salinity and temperature in process water in chemical, water, electronics, food, environmental and wastewater applications.
The CX-3000 from the Garden Grove, Calif.-based firm, which supplies water sensor packages for pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, free chlorine and chlorine dioxide, features a 4 to 20 mA output for temperature measurement, eliminating the need for a separate temperature transmitter. The NEMA 4x-, IP65-standard and line-powered unit (100 to 240 VAC) can be wall, panel, or pipe-mounted. It features a large backlit LCD screen that shows temperature and one parameter between conductivity (up to 200 mS/cm), resistivity (up to 20 ohm/cm), and salinity (up to 70 ppt).
The unit is user-programmable and has a password protection option. It can be integrated into automated process control systems.
