Stafford Introduces Hinged Mounting Collars

Stafford Manufacturing Corp. has released a standard line of low-cost plastic hinged collars for attaching items to tube and pipe, such as power strips.

The Wilmington, Mass.-based company describes its Stafford Plastic Hinged Mounting Collars as having an integral hinge, clamping screw and one flat section with a hole that permits it to be attached to a power strip or other item and then mounted to a tube or pipe. The collars can also be used to mount tubular instruments to a flat surface.

Stafford stocks 7/8-, 1- and 1-1/4-in I.D. sizes, and sells the plastic mounting collars in two-packs. They are injection molded and have a stainless steel clamping screw for durability. Applications are as varied as attaching power strips to poles, shelves, keeping flashlights handy, securing tubing and bundling cables.

Custom colors and molding are available for OEMs and distributors, and free samples are available to them.
