CNC precision machining and tool production service provider Advanced Machining, Inc. (AMI) has relocated to a new facility in Salisbury, N.C., and announced plans to expand its workforce.

AMI opened its doors at 215 Forbes Ave. to local media to display its machining facilities and discuss future business plans.  The 10,000 sq-ft building houses a broad range of precision machining tools for production needs in the aerospace, medical, defense and automotive industries.  AMI moved into the new facility to meet increased production needs and to expand its workforce by 20 percent.

AMI was partially acquired in 2011 by ZP Enterprises in Atlanta. This partial acquisition enabled AMI’s workforce, equipment, and facility expansion.
