Machine software developer JETCAM has announced the release of an update to its JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) Premium II remote ordering system.
The new version of JOC Premium II, which updates to version 1.04 after the software’s initial release in March of this year, features three major and many minor updates. While the core functionality of processing and ordering CAD files remains, JOC Premium II now features a more robust parametric editor that allows users to build geometries from fundamental components. The software has also updated a cost estimating element for metals that can be nested in a variety of ways, so that only one, a few, or all metal component costs can be estimated. Additionally, JETCAM has improved the tool data available to the user.
“We were excited to be able to release this feature-rich update so soon after the initial launch,” said Martin Bailey, general manager for JETCAM International, in a statement. “Each feature stands on its own strength but together they deliver benefits greater than the sum of their parts. JOC Premium II is great for companies that have a lot of data – be it CAD files, component files, assemblies, tools, or nests. Information can be immediately filtered and grouped to help users make sense of it, and we’ve included importing and exporting of all relevant data.”
