MAG, which recently sold its Americas division to French investment group Fives, will present at Hannover out of Booth B82 in Hall 12, and focus on new production technologies including its durable, rigid-built DF 221 Cx milling machine series for crankshaft production. In one of its 13 exhibits, MAG will show off the DF 221 Cx series’ modular milling capabilities and tool lengthening techniques.
Three SPECHT® machines will also feature among MAG’s exhibits. The twin-spindle machining centers for machining prismatic components feature rapid chip-to-chip time and reduced tool change times to keep the machine working and limit downtime.
“[T]he dynamics of changing customer requirements … makes it necessary to design production systems to be flexible and find new and useful ways to integrate and network,” said Martin Winterstein, manager of business development and marketing for MAG. “Our ‘Smart Production Systems’ represent powerful, streamlined, and versatile manufacturing that meets the current challenges facing the manufacturing industry.”
