Later this month, Techniks CNC tooling solutions will begin a series of trade shows that take advantage of Internet connectivity and social networking. The digital trade show is an hourlong online multimedia event where “attendees” can log on to converse with experts, watch demonstration videos, and learn about various products and solutions.
Digital trade shows, also known as virtual trade shows, have been around for a few years, but the benefits still ring true. Attendees get to bypass the unpleasant parts of attending a trade show — like being away from home, and perhaps being unfortunate enough to sit behind a crying baby on a flight — while obtaining all of the relevant and necessary information about innovations and new products from qualified professionals.
Techniks’s first digital trade show kicks off at 10 a.m. EST on Wed., Feb. 20, focusing on the company’s toolholders for advanced milling. Later that day, at 4 p.m. EST, attendees can log on to learn about magnetic workholding solutions.
Four more digital trade shows have been announced, and Techniks has hinted at additional shows throughout the year. Potential attendees can learn more about and sign up for any of the announced shows by clicking here.
