After launching a YouTube channel covering strategic sourcing matters a month ago, Source One Management Services LLC, the Willow Grove, Penn.-based strategic sourcing and procurement service provider and consultancy, has debuted two podcasts on supply chain and spend management trends on iTunes. Source One is a regular editorial contributor to IMT Procurement Journal.
The podcasts cover supply chain optimization, nearshoring, and supplier relationship management, among other topics. Source One describes the podcasts, the content of which is provided by the consultancy’s subject matter experts, as “information-packed” and “designed to transfer the maximum amount of knowledge … in the minimum amount of time.”
Source One has created both English and Spanish podcasts, on “The Source One Podcast Network” and “La Red de Podcasts de Source One,” respectively. The company says it is the only one providing strategic sourcing, supply chain, and spend management information in Spanish on iTunes. The company will post a new podcast on each channel every two weeks.
“Our offering of Spanish-language strategic sourcing and supply chain information that is easily accessible and free of charge just reinforces the ambassadorial role we have played for industry in Latin America,” says Diego De la Garza, a Source One project manager. “We continue to engage companies throughout the region to help them better capitalize on the opportunities available from the U.S. companies nearshoring their production.”
William Dorn, Source One’s vice president, says the info-packed podcasts fit into the company’s strategy of assisting clients in strategic sourcing and supply chain challenges.
Source One also posts thought-leadership content on its blog, StrategicSourceror.com.
