IMT Procurement Journal was live on the scene at ISM-New York’s centennial celebration. The event (which was sponsored by ThomasNet.com, parent company of this publication) gave tribute to the organization and its members’ efforts through the years to elevate the prestige and influence of the purchasing profession on both the local and national levels, as well as its ability to stay relevant to changing business and economic trends for more than 100 years.
On hand to celebrate the milestone was Tom Derry, CEO of the national ISM organization, as well as Keith Hines, president of ISM-New York and procurement director of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and other top New York City-area procurement professionals and executives.
In this video, ThomasNet News Senior Editor Christian Bonawandt, representing IMT Procurement Journal, speaks with Tom Derry about the 100th anniversary of the New York affiliate and its relationship with the national organization, as well as the future of procurement and supply management.
In this video, Bonawandt speaks with Keith Hines to get his thoughts about the 100th anniversary of the New York organization, its current goals, and what he sees ahead for procurement and supply management.
In this video, Bonawandt speaks with Joe Harney, vice president of procurement for Columbia University, about how the procurement profession has changed over the years, the challenges the industry still faces, and how purchasing and supply management might look and operate a few years from now.
