High-density storage is accomplished by storing inventory in trays that are stored vertically on shelves. Stored product remains stationary until an operator calls for the tray which is then automatically retrieved by an extractor platform. The tray is then presented to the operator at an ergonomically correct workstation. Tray return is automatic when you request another location. The base of the VLM unit requires minimal square feet on the floor but allows for up to 800 cubic feet of total storage volume. A VLM vertical storage system will save floor space and inventory management.
