LessCompany InformationAbout F.P. Woll & Co. from http://www.fpwoll.comWhen we developed and began manufacturing WollasticTM back in 1937, we were working to solve a customer problem. Today, that same ingenuity and initiative is alive and well at F.P. Woll, and it's one of the things that sets us apart. A good packaging solution can range from something as simple as foam "peanuts" and a stock carton, to as complex as a reusable impact resistant plastic case with custom tooled foam within. Our job as designers is to work with you and determine the best, most cost-efficient solution to your particular needs. In addition More... to having years of experience in design, we work closely with the mills who manufacture our raw materials to test our solutions to make sure that all components will meet our rigorous performance standards. During all stages of the design process, we keep our customers informed of their product's status. At the end of the process, we will provide a fully functional first article sample for the customer's review. We build all of our tools in-house in our tool & die shop. We can build steel rule dies to a customer's specifications or drawings, or we can build them based upon our designs. Most of our competitors have to pay an outside source make their tools and dies, and they may not have much control over how things are made, or how soon they can receive their product. F.P. Woll & Company's ability to make our own tools gives us tremendous flexibility and allows us to turn around jobs very quickly. Additionally, not having to farm the tooling & die work out allows us to pass significant savings onto our customers. Whether it's saw cutting, horizontal slitting, hotwire cutting, sheeting, or die cutting, we have a full range of equipment that can work with almost any foam medium. With 12 assembly stations, parts can be quickly and correctly assembled and delivered "just-in-time" at competitive prices for small, medium, or large quantities. Space is at a premium. No one wants to hold a lot of inventory in uncertain times. We can provide product hot off the production line "just-in-time" to our customers, and have the warehousing space to hold finished product in stock for our customers who operate on KANBAN-type inventory systems. At F.P. Woll & Company, we finish what we start. With design, tooling, and fabrication under one roof, our customers can be fully confident that our entire process is integrated at all stages of the supply chain. F.P. Woll & Company makes your packaging better, faster, and simpler. Less |
