About Cornell from http://www.cornelliron.com

Cornell Iron Works has been owned and managed by the Cornell family since 1828. In the 19th century, we were a manufacturer of specialty ironwork, grates, railings, stairs, vaults and structural and ornamental ironwork. The company originated in New York City serving a regional market then later New England and the middle Atlantic states.

Today, with manufacturing and corporate offices located in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania, we are a leading resource for rolling steel doors and grilles. We still serve the non-residential construction market, but now our customers and distribution covers North America and beyond. Today’s emphasis is not only on rolling doors and grilles, but also on product support and information services to assist professionals through design, build or manage industrial, institutional and commercial buildings. With our commitment to quality products, materials, design and construction methods that enhance security and life safety, we provide success opportunities for our distributor, architect and contractor customers. Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Cornell employs over 200 associates in over 185,000 square feet of facility space. All production units are designed and manufactured per order. All Cornell associates assertively serve our customers.

Cornell product categories include Rolling Service Doors, Insulated Service Doors, Counter Doors, Fire Doors, Insulated Fire Doors, Counter Fire Doors, SmokeShield Products, Rolling Grilles and Side Folding Grilles. Many product accessories are available to complement our base product designs. Cornell also designs and manufactures an array of products to meet many special application design needs such as combination doors, horizontal and roll top closures, high cycle units, high wind load doors, etc. With an in-house powder coat line and the option of multiple materials and finishes, Cornell offers many choices to meet aesthetic or corrosion resistance design needs.
