1. August 6, 2007 — Hirschmann Announces New Automation Division for Expanding Markets
   HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., Elgin, Illinois, June 2007. Peter Knowles, President, announces the formation of a new division, HIRSCHMAN Automation LLC. This new division, located at HIRSCHMANN U.S.A. Headquarters will be led by Michael P. Rogers, who was recently named President of the new division. Rogers is responsible for the formation of the company sales, installation and software development for products that concentrate on automation inquires and applications.
2. July 2, 2007 — William Boehmert Joins Hirschmann Engineering as Regional Sales Manager
   Peter Knowles, President, HIRSCHMANN Engineering USA, Inc., Elgin, Illinois, announces that William (Bill) Boehmert has joined HIRSCHMANN Engineering as a Regional Sales Manager. In his new position, Bill is responsible for selling and servicing the entire HIRSCHMANN product line in the Midwest region of the United States, which includes the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
3. May 8, 2007 — Hirschmann Receives EN 9100 Aerospace Certification
   HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., of Elgin, Illinois recently announced that their parent company, HIRSCHMANN GmbH has received the EN 9100 Aerospace Series Certification. The certification's Quality Management System and requirements are based on ISO 9001: 2000, Quality Management Systems, which is technically equivalent to AS 9100 and JISQ 9100. The certificate was issued in Munich Germany on October 16, 2006 by AeroCert the issuing certification body for management systems.
4. February 19, 2007 — Gary D. Kinsey Rejoins Hirschmann Engineering
   Peter Knowles, President, HIRSCHMANN Engineering USA, Inc., Elgin, Illinois, announces that Gary D. Kinsey has rejoined HIRSCHMANN Engineering as a Regional Sales Manager. He is responsible for selling and servicing the entire HIRSCHMANN product line in the Mid and Southeast regions of the United States. Kinsey previously was with HIRSCHMANN from 2001 to 2006.
5. November 16, 2006 — Hirschmann Engineering USA, Inc. Announces New Headquarters Location
   Peter Knowles, President, HIRSCHMANN Engineering USA, Inc., announces the opening of the company's new facility in Elgin, Illinois. Originally located in Arlington Heights, Illinois and founded in 1992, HIRSCHMANN has been located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois for the last eleven years. 6. October 9, 2006 — Hirschmann Offers New Micro Technology Rotary Spindle for Wire EDM
   HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., Buffalo Grove, Illinois, announces a breakthrough in EDM turning of microstructures. The newly designed H80R.MAC high speed rotary spindle combined with the H1680.AC4 variable speed AC control, has made the production of miniature round parts with small diameters and finer finishes possible. The H80R.MAC incorporates special bearings, minimum radial run-out and variable high-speed control.
7. September 19, 2006 — New Fixturing System 9000 Catalog Available from Hirschmann Engineering
   HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., Buffalo Grove, Illinois, now has available a new catalog, Fixturing System 9000, Modular Zero-Point Fixturing for Pallets, Workpieces and Fixtures. The 4-color, 20-page catalog shows the complete product line with information about typical and custom products, service and maintenance, technical specifications, clampers, clamping bases, pallets and accessories.
8. August 25, 2006 — Dan Hannigan Joins Hirschmann Engineering as Regional Manager
   Peter Knowles, President, HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., Buffalo Grove, Illinois, announces that Dan Hannigan has rejoined HIRSCHMANN Engineering as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for selling and servicing the entire HIRSCHMANN product line in Ohio, Indiana and Canada. 9. August 14, 2006 — Hirschmann Cell Master 5.0 Now Available
   HIRSCHMANN Engineering U.S.A., Inc., Buffalo Grove, Illinois, announces the availability of its real-time Cell Management System (CMS) for preparing, organizing and executing work in an automated CNC machine environment for toolmaking, moldmaking and job shop machining. The CMS Software is a Windows based PC program that controls the robot and machine tools in an automated CNC machining cell.
10. July 18, 2006 — Hirschmann "B" Axis With HSK63 Taper For Wire EDM
