Since 1982, Sensing Devices Incorporated has supplied high-quality platinum Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) elements to manufacturers and users of Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRTs) serving process industries such as; textiles, petrochemicals, food and dairy. Manufactured in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, SDI maintains a large stock of standard detectors for immediate delivery.
In addition, SDI engineering services will help you select or customize the detector for your specific application requirements.

SDI also maintains its own in-house laboratory to provide accurate and reliable Industrial Platinum Resistance Thermometer (IPRT) calibration. Standard calibration is performed at the ice, triple point of water, and comparison method in fluidized baths adopted by the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90). Custom calibrations can be performed over the range of Lq Ni to +661 degrees Celsius.
