News & Press Releases
  1. October 2, 2008 — New Rotary Touchless Sensor
Southborough, MA - Novotechnik's new RFC 4000 Series rotary sensors combine touchless technology and small form factor. The sensor's touchless technology utilizes the orientation of a magnetic field in order to determine measurement angle. This makes the sensor ideal for applications that require mounting flexibility or transmissive measurements through air or non-magnetic materials. RFC 4000 Series is 7mm thin with a thumbprint of about one square inch.
  2. December 6, 2007 — New Non-Contacting & Touchless Rotary Sensors
Livonia, MI - With recent additions of the RFC, and Vert-x E series, Novotechnik's lines of non-contact and fully touchless rotary position sensors now include six different series of rotary position sensors. These are ideal for mobile and other harsh environment, limited-space applications.
  3. July 12, 2007 — New Non-Contacting Rotary Position Sensor
Southborough, MA-- Novotechnik introduces the RSC 2800 series of non-contacting rotary sensors. Measurement angle is determined by detecting variation in the orientation of a magnetic field due to a magnet attached to the shaft. Custom circuitry performs field orientation detection and filtering while providing an analog output that is proportional to angular position.
  4. July 31, 2006 — New Compact Position Sensors are Pressure Equalized
Southborough, MA...Novotechnik is introducing the TEX series of position sensors with stroke lengths up to 300 mm. The new sensor combines compact housing size of 18 mm diameter with pressure equalization.
  5. May 2, 2006 — Non-Contacting Rotary Sensor Measures Just 13 x 20 mm
Based on proprietary technology, Novotechnik has developed the RSC 1300 series of miniature non-contact sensors for use in robotics, medical devices, scientific instrumentation and other applications that require dependability and precision in the smallest possible package.
  6. February 24, 2006 — Non-Contacting Rotary Sensor Has No Moving Parts
Southborough, MA- Based on magnetic field technology, Novotechnik RFC sensors have no moving or mechanical parts attached to wear or break. A magnetic assembly affixed to the shaft is physically separated from a sensor with an embedded integrated circuit that provides analog output representing the calculated angle range - from 30° to 360° in 10° steps.
  7. May 13, 2005 — Smart Non-Contact Rotary Position Sensor
Southborough, MA - The new RSC3700 family of non-contacting rotary sensors provides 360° absolute angle measurements with 12-bit resolution. Measurements are referred to a mechanical index point, providing retention of position in the event of power failures.
  8. March 22, 2005 — New Non-Contacting Transducer For Hydraulic and Pneumatic Applications
Southborough, MA…Designed for continuous use at operating pressures up to 350 bar, the Novotechnik TMI non-contacting transducers are readily integrated into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Utilizing Novotechnik’s proprietary Novostrictive® measuring process, TMI transducers provide direct, precise, and absolute measurements from 100 to 4,500 mm with single or multiple position markers. There are no limits to the transverse speed and acceleration of the markers and the TMI provides...
  9. February 7, 2005 — New Non-Contacting Transducers for Internal Applications
Southborough, MA... Designed to be integrated directly into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, Novotechnik's TLI series of non-contacting position transducers utilizes the company's proprietary Indres (inductive-resistive) technology. This new non-contacting technology ensures proper operation even in the presence of static magnetic fields and dynamic and static electric fields to deliver consistently accurate measurements.
  10. December 3, 2004 — New Captive Slide Magnetostrictive Sensors
Southborough, MA...Novotechnik U.S. is introducing a captive slide version of its TLM Series of magnetostrictive position sensors. This version is designed as a replacement upgrade for traditional rodless position sensor applications. Data output rate is 16 kHz.
