The versatile clamp-type design.
All Stafford collars and couplings (other than our line of set-screw type collars) feature the clamp-type design. They won't slip even under high axial loads, nor will they mar your expensive shafts. Easy to assemble and adjust, they are stocked in a wide variety of one-piece, two-piece and hinged styles. They perform well on both soft and hard shafts, as well as on thin-wall tubing.
