  8. April 6, 2005 — Economical PS41 Pressure Switch Family Features Piston/Diaphragm Design
PLAINVILLE, CT. The PS41 Series of pressure switches, now available from Gems Sensors, incorporates two design principles to achieve excellent performance characteristics. PS41 switches utilize an internal piston to allow high proof pressure, while gaining sensitivity and accuracy from a diaphragm media interface. Repeatability is ±2% of the full set point range of 3 to 100 psi (0.2 to 7 bar) while delivering a 350 psi proof pressure.
  9. October 6, 2004 — FS-480 Flow Switches Feature Larger Inline Bore and Ports for Higher Flow Rates and Lower Pressure Drop
PLAINVILLE, CT— With port sizes up to 3/4”, the new FS-480 Series flow switches, from Gems Sensors Inc., are aimed at monitoring fluid systems higher flow rates. This inline flow switch will also accommodate fluid pressures to 1,000 PSI. Twenty-five percent (25%) larger than its FS-380 sibling, the FS-480 is ideal for processes that push more fluid through their systems and demand low pressure drop. With the higher flow rates also come higher switch set points: 0.50 to 3.00 GPM.
