About Harris Waste Management Group, Inc. from www.harriswaste.com
Harris' first piece of equipment in was built in 1889. It's hard to imagine what it was like at our plant in southern Georgia back then. Thankfully, we don’t have to look long or hard for our guiding principles. They exist in the quality of the equipment we built and shipped around the world. In some cases, the quality equipment Harris built forty or fifty years ago is still operating today.
The commitment of our employees to build the best scrap and waste processing equipment in the world was established long before TQM and mission statements gained a foothold in the industry. We work hard for a living doing one thing better than any other company in the world. We build the strongest and smartest processing equipment for people who work hard for a living.
Harris has maintained its position as the industry leader in material reduction equipment by paying attention to our customers needs. Whether it is the Defense Department requiring a massive metal shear for scrapping Russian submarines or the local grocery store needing to bale its waste cardboard and plastic, Harris has been able to supply the right equipment for the application.
From solid waste management to scrap recycling, we have a baler to fit your needs. Harris is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture, and support of scrap processing, recycling, size reduction, material, and waste handling equipment. Harris operates manufacturing facilities and offices in the United States and United Kingdom and has more than 60 professional distribution partners throughout the world.
