Search Tabs
At the top of the page, above the search box, click on the tabs to change the type of search you wish to do in order to make the results you see even more specific. Selecting one of the search tabs gives ThomasNet instructions about what specific kind of search results you wish to see:

- Product/Service – Search ThomasNet.com by product or service category for detailed
information on more than 600,000 industrial suppliers, manufacturers and distributors in North America. The
results can be filtered by geography, product details (including CAD, news and catalogs), certifications, keywords
and ownership type. For example, if you are looking for suppliers, manufacturers or distributors of Metal
Stampings you would select this tab and type Metal Stampings into the search box.
- Company Name – The company name search tab on ThomasNet.com allows you to search
by company name to find detailed information about a company, including its location, contact information,
certifications, catalog, news and CAD drawings, on more than 600,000 industrial suppliers. Recommended if you
are looking for more information on a specific Company such as Digi-Key Corp.
- Brand Name – Selecting the Brand Name tab allows you to search ThomasNet.com for
manufacturers, distributors and service companies of more than 60,000 unique brands. For example, if you are
looking for a supplier, manufacturer or distributor of Bosch products you would select this
tab and type Bosch into the search box.
- Industrial Web – Search ThomasNet.com for information listed on industrial supplier
websites, catalogs and more. Recommended for highly defined searches, e.g., 12 volt reversible dc motor.
- CAD Models – Search ThomasNet.com by product category name for suppliers who provide downloadable CAD models. ThomasNet's CAD library contains models of millions of mechanical parts, plant components, building products CAD Models information listed on industrial supplier websites, catalogs and more. Recommended for all those looking to download CAD Models, search for e.g., bearings.
