Overview:
The high performance polyurethane waterproof coating system used on the parking structure, roof of the restaurants and casino, and the center suite balconies and elevated walkways of Bellargio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is described in this paper. It presents the various property advantages of the waterproofing traffic-bearing coating system used, listing their composition and materials used. Applications of Auto-Gard II and Peda-Gard II waterproofing traffic-bearing systems are listed, and the surface preparation procedure for applying the coatings including cleaning, filling the cracks, sealing secondary control joints and surface conditioning is explained.
