Two-Component Waterborne Polyurethane High Performance Coatings for FlooringPublisher: Bayer MaterialScience, LLC
|
Overview: Advantages of two-component, waterborne Polyurethane floor coatings, which are developed by Bayer, are described in this paper. These high-performance polyurethane coatings have properties similar to those of two-component solvent borne polyurethane coatings. The key benefits of this two-component (2K WB) system such as odorless nature, UV light stability, abrasion resistance, non-yellowing, chemical resistance, hot tire resistance, and high or low gloss with ultra-low VOCs are listed, while product characteristics as well as typical properties of Bayhydrol XP2542 and Bayhydur XP 2547 coatings are incorporated together with tabular and graphical representations.
