This case study details how RFind's Tag to Tag(TM) Communication Technology along with AppLocation Systems' MOBILEFusion(TM) software met the RTLS ( Real Time Locating System) requirements of one of North America's largest utility companies that needed a supply chain and inventory control solution to map assets in third party warehouses and several remote yards. It also describes how the cabling limitations at the open yards were overcome by the RFind's asset tags, which provided precise x, y coordinate locating by talking to reference tags used as fixed points, thus eliminating extensive cabling and reader infrastructures and enabling a quick installation time or easy reconfiguration, substantially lowering costs.
