Natural Gas Booster

Publisher: Solberg Manufacturing, Inc.
Overview:
This case study presents an overview of the operational problems faced by an Ariel JGH/2 compressor operator in Pennsylvania in a gas turbine booster application, due to inefficient compressor system, and describes how the problem was solved by the 150 psi rated ASME code pressure vessel (PCSS Series) custom built by Solberg to replace the existing suction scrubber. The functions and capabilities of various components of the new system are detailed, highlighting the one year service interval offered by the Teflon coated polyester filter element, which makes the vessel maintenance free. The paper also brings to focus the periodic reviews conducted by Solberg to ensure that all the client's needs are met.
