Overview:
This case study reviews the performance of Blow-Thru SpaceŽ Heaters custom designed by Cambridge for use in LEED Green Building Projects, including both new construction and rehab/retrofit projects. The requirements that had to be addressed by the LEED-Ready CambridgeŽ Heaters in terms of Energy Efficiency (EA) and Indoor Air Quality (EQ) are listed, illustrating the various system components and their functions. System's capabilities in improving indoor air quality by using 100 percent, non-recirculated fresh air and its contribution towards a healthy environment are also highlighted. A table illustrating dramatic green benefits of 50 percent energy savings with Cambridge heaters for warehouses in the Chicago area is presented.
