Magnalube-G Reduces Bearing Breakdown at Physical Plant Div. of Duke University

Publisher: Magnalube, Inc.
Overview:
Providing an overview of various, unusual lubrication problems faced by an air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, this paper explain how the air conditioning refrigeration department at Duke University reduced bearing trouble and achieved less equipment downtime in pump and motors after switching to Magnalube-G. Paper explains the ability of this specialized grease to continually lubricate at temperature ranges from -46°C to 260°C, while also describes how the water resistant PTFE-loaded Magnalube-G offers extended protection against rust in most environments. Lubricant applications such as pump motors, cooling tower motors, and exhaust fans are included. The paper concludes that after using Magnalube-G, equipment bearings at Duke University are running much cooler without frequent breakdown and bearing trouble.
